When it comes to financial management, one thing all parents have in common is wanting to ensure their children have financial skills that are set for life. Sadly, financial education is not systematically provided in the public education system in the U.S.

On Monday, March 8, the Shawnee library will provide a session for parents with children from preschool through teen years with age appropriate financial competencies as well as activities. The program, presented by Inger Guiffrida, will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is meant for adults only. Registration is required.
