At two sessions of Gaming Day, Wednesday, March 17, teens and children can challenge one another in sports, guitar skills and karaoke, all at the Purcell library.
Kids’ Gaming Day is scheduled for 3-4 p.m., and Tweens and Teen Gaming Day will begin at 4 p.m. The children’s program is designed for elementary-school-age participants and the tweens’ and teens’ is aimed for ages 12 and up.
Gaming Day will offer the video games Wii Sports, Guitar Hero World Tour and the new Wii Karaoke game. Board games and cards will also be available.
Participants are encouraged to bring friends and registration is not required.
Another Gaming Day will be held on Wednesday, April 21. At this session, kids’ gaming will begin at 3 p.m. and tweens’ and teens’ at 4 p.m.
