Pioneer Library System - Monthly Picks

Oklahoma is celebrating its first statewide Teen Read Month in October. The National Teen Read Week has been expanded to a whole month in Oklahoma so more libraries and teens will be able to participate, as the traditional Teen Read Week tends to fall during Oklahoma’s fall break in public schools.

To help you get into the mood, the Pioneer Library System is providing you with some suggestions for books to read this month.  If you like creepy scary stories these are the books for you.  They all have a pretty intense bites, so be careful as you read them.  You may even need to keep a light on.

666: The Number of the Beast by various authors

A collection of horror stories about werewolves, vampires, zombies, the undead, witches, supernatural, and demons.

All Hallows Eve: 13 Stories by Vivian Vande Velde
