The Pioneer Library System’s Big Read went out with a bang, as nearly 200 people, many dressed in attire straight out of the 1930s, attended the Finale for the event at the Warren Theatre in Moore.
The Noble Public Library ended the night with a nice addition for its collection. The library won a drawing among the Pioneer branches for an 18-inch bronze statue of a peregrine falcon perched on a stack of three books. The statue was presented to branch manager Cathy Adams Thursday night.
