It often seems that younger generations are more knowledgeable about current technologies, so the Newcastle Public Library is hosting a “Wii Got Game” event where teens will teach adults how to play Nintendo Wii games on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 3 p.m.

Both teens and adults can participate in this cross-generational event. Games to be played will be mostly fitness-oriented, such as Wii Fit and Wii Sports. The video game Dance Dance Revolution may also be available. Registration is not required.

“We wanted to host an activity that parents and teens could do together,” Newcastle Public Library Branch Manager Kathie Thomas said. “We’ve done a program with teens and seniors before and that worked out really well, so we wanted to expand on the idea.”
