On Monday, March 22, 11 a.m., the Newcastle Public Library will host a movement-oriented interactive activity for infants called Lap-sit Rhythm Babies.
Lap-Sit Rhythm Babies is designed for children three and under.
The program will incorporate singing and rhythmic movement for infants and toddlers with a participating adult. Music activities benefit children by stimulating good speech articulation and language development and combining it with the fun of social interaction. Library assistant Lori Ford will present the program.
