Find a new recipe while sharing some of your favorites at a Cookbook-Recipe Swap, offered at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Purcell Public Library, 919 N. 9th St.

The program is part of the library’s continuing series of events celebrating the “Key Ingredients: America by Food” exhibit that is at the library through March 3.

In addition to the actual swap for recipes and cookbooks, a demonstration will be given on making brown paper sack cookbooks. Participants are asked to bring potluck refreshments to share as well.

Registration is not required.

“Key Ingredients: America by Food” is a Smithsonian Institution outreach program that is visiting six sites in Oklahoma this fall and in 2012. The exhibit is part of Museum on Main Street, a partnership of the Smithsonian and state humanities councils, including the Oklahoma Humanities Council, which helped bring the exhibit to Oklahoma.

For more information on this or other programming taking place during the Key Ingredients exhibit, call the library at 527-5546.
