Moore’s Book ‘N’ Cook combines reading, cooking
Conquer those afterschool munchies while also learning a new trick or two in the kitchen with the Moore Public Library’s Book ‘N’ Cook program.
The library hosts Book ‘N’ Cook the second and fourth Wednesday of most months, with its next editions taking place Feb. 8 and Feb. 22, in the Story Time Room of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
The program is geared to ages 7 to 12 and combines reading, a movie and a unique recipe or two. Participants will listen to a story, watch a related film and then put together a tasty snack based on the stories they’ve heard and watched.
Supplies are all provided by the library but are limited in number, so registration in advance of the program is required.
