McLoud hosts monthly ‘Cool Cooking’ class for teens

The McLoud Public Library will host its “Cool Cooking" series for teens, a cooperative program with the Pottawatomie County OSU Extension office, at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the library’s Milburn Room.
Sonya McDaniel, Pottawatomie County OSU Extension Educator, will lead the class, where students learn to make different items each month with new cooking techniques and some easy recipes.
Space is limited so registration is required and may be completed at the library or by calling 964-2960.

The McLoud Public Library’s special Toddler Time story time is offered twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesday mornings.
This month’s Toddler Times will take place at 11:15 a.m. on Feb. 14 and also Feb. 28 in the Milburn Room of the library, 133 N. Main St.

The McLoud Public Library is calling area girls to its Little Miss Tea Party, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, in the Milburn Room of the library, 133 N. Main St.
Girls ages 4-7 are invited to dress up in their fanciest clothes and take part in a tea party. They also will be making Valentine’s cards.
