How do I renew an item?

Frequently Asked Questions - General
There are several options for renewing an item. You can use the website, a telephone, or come to the library in person. If you have trouble renewing items, please contact your hometown library for help.
The rules for renewals are:

You may renew items up to three times.

Items requested by another borrower are not renewable.

There are some special collections that are not renewable, such as High Demand and Sizzlers.
Using the Telephone
Call 405.701.2688
Will be prompted with options:

Press 1 for library information
-
Press 2 for account information
-
Press 5 to renew books
-
Press 6 to request books
Press 5 to renew books

Will be prompted to enter barcode on library card (enter all 14 digits)

Press # for instructions on finding barcode
Will be prompted with options:

Press 1 to renew one item
-
Will be prompted to enter the barcode of the item

Press # for instructions on finding the barcode
Press 2 to renew all items

All items will be renewed and system will read list of item titles
Press 4 to listen to a list of items for renewal

Will read title of item and give options to:
-
press 1 to renew item
-
press 6 to go to next item
-
press 5 to listen to previous item
-
press 4 to listen to list again
Press * at any time to cancel current action and go back in the menu
