The City of Oklahoma City expects bids for construction, for the new Southwest Oklahoma City Library, to be publicized in February with bid awards announced in late March or early April. The new library will be located on the campus of the Moore Norman Technology Center South Penn Campus at 134th and South Pennsylvania and operated by the Pioneer Library System.
“The Pioneer Library System is very excited about providing library services to South Oklahoma City,” said Lisa Wells, Cleveland County Coordinator for Pioneer Library System. “Our goal is to continue to keep the community apprised of progress on the new library project.”
Completion of the new library facility is slated for mid to late 2011.
